Electronic Signature & Control Transfer Consent Argus dBL (argusdbl.com) · Effective 2026-10-08 This consent applies to every action you take on a Digital Bill of Lading ("dBL") on Argus dBL. If you use Argus dBL without an account, you confirm this consent each time you act. If you have a registered account, you confirm it once when you register or join the account, and it applies to all actions you take through the account. 1. Electronic signature When you confirm an action on a dBL (for example, accepting control, transferring, endorsing or voiding it), you sign electronically. Your electronic signature has the same effect as a handwritten signature and the physical transfer of a paper bill of lading. 2. Business use You act on behalf of a business, not as a consumer. 3. Your review and responsibility Before acting, you have reviewed the dBL, including both of its PDF files. You are solely responsible for the legal and commercial consequences of your actions. 4. Role of the platform Argus dBL provides the electronic transfer and authenticity record of Digital Bills of Lading. It has no knowledge whatsoever of the contents of any Bill of Lading, the content of endorsements, any disputes between parties, or the parties' company information. The platform does not participate in any cargo handling. The platform always remains neutral. 5. Records The platform records each action and the version of this consent that applied. These records may be used as evidence of your actions. Records of actions on a dBL are kept for five years from the date the dBL was first issued on the platform. 6. Validity period A dBL expires twelve months after the Carrier first issues it on the platform. After it expires, no further action can be taken on it. 7. Suspension ARGUS DBL LLC, the operator of the platform ("Platform Operator"), suspends a dBL only where required by a court order or applicable law. The Platform Operator freezes an account only at the request of the account holder, where required by a court order or applicable law, or where it has reason to believe that the account has been compromised or that a serious security incident has occurred. 8. Liability The Platform Operator is not liable for the consequences of your actions or of your reliance on any dBL, except for its own fraud or willful misconduct. 9. Versions This consent may be updated. Each version is identified by its effective date. An action is governed by the version in effect when it was confirmed. Registered accounts may be asked to confirm a new version. 10.
